1985 graduate of OSU's construction engineering management program, Rick Tenneson is President of GT Contractors Inc. Initially located in Portland, his firm has recently moved its headquarters to Sisters, Oregon.

GT contractors specializes in the excavation and installation of underground utilities and has primarily pursued design-build, negotiated-fee projects that allow a focus on maintaining a stable, financially secure company that provides a safe work environment (zero workers compensation claims for the past several years).

While at OSU, Mr. Tenneson was president of the Student Chapter of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) as well as the vice president of the Associated Students of Oregon State University. Mr. Tenneson and his company remain active AGC participants, but his "political" activity has been transferred to business and family.
